how about moved 5 nodes east so everyone who spawns doesn't see inside their brain?
i dislike the idea of kicking people like this, but perhaps new players should not all spawn at "exactly" the same place every time?
cf. #2132 for another idea
I do not want to forcibly remove people. People that just log in and then not move at all might be bots, forgotten logins or anything in between. They take up one playerslot of (currently) 42, which we hardly ever reach. Having players afk exactly at spawnpoint creates a bad experiences for everyone who respawns or joins, since you then stand "in" them.
flux already outlined the "right" solution IMO: Players shouldn't spawn at exactly the same spot, especially if this spot is already taken.
Altering the spawnpoint for existing players is a 1.2 cities feature, where people can select different cities to spawn.
Altering the spawnpoint for new players as suggested in #2132 to a differen area is a 1.4 classes feature, where new players can select different "types of starts" into the game.
