Laurii reports a bug:

When giving NPC certain items on Right hand (like feather, parchment) it takes over their skin, insted of holding it like a normal item

Sadly cannot be fixed yet. The model just supports one wielded item.

The only workaround I've found for now is to give them only items with a standard/low-res texture for their "other" hand.
