This problem, to "create an indistructable node" as a rope is much easier by crafting them. Two flax on top of each other (its not in the recipes, but it works) will give this:

The picture is from #4232 and I wrote about this rope, but I didn't reported it, because Alias was knowing about this at this time.

Incredible, this works? Why is it not in the crafting guide? This may have been documented, but smol brain Alias entirely forgot about this again ....

Why is it not in the crafting guide?

it probably was, but only if you looked through things you could craft with flax. because the rope node isn't in the crafting guide itself, the recipe was a bit hidden. but the recipe was removed at some point, either by us or upstream.

either way, rope nodes (box, middle, and end) are now all MVPS stoppers, so this is fixed.

i spoke too soon. while glowing rope ends are MVPS stoppers, glowing rope middles ("ropes:rope_glowing") are not.
