Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?

The cereals are like that, too. But it's not 2D, it also has a certain thickness and is therefore 3D. That's why I think it's just right the way it is right now.
this bug happens with a number of different things, including pipeworks, (maybe) mesecons and digilines (the wires)
this is because i don't have a 3d model to imitate the plantlike drawtype, so i just use the inventory image. if someone wants to make a model for me, i'll use it. doesn't have to be anything complicated, the default "X" plantlike should be fine.
i'm honestly not sure why this happens, mimes should be able to copy nodebox drawtypes fine (e.g. stairs and slabs)
those are also nodeboxes, i'll take a look into it.
I just learned that there's a
mesh = "plantlike.obj"
that you can use, at least on YL...huh, that's from plantlife/dryplants, let me check that out...

Maybe balance it somehow? Add an overlay texture? shift color? idk
imo it's no different than mimes imitating normal blocks
normal mechanics is one thing, but imagine a mime hiding in a field of flowers, and then you are being attacked but you don't know which flower is the impostor.
fortunantly it's easy to find out, just take a moment and move to find the mime, if you move in any direction it will most likely follow you, then you'll know. Or just check to see which one isn't lined up properly in the nodes, or that has a 20/20 etc health amount
they're at least physical, unlike most plants. you'll notice them if you walk into them...
mimes rotate to face you when they attack, it'll be possible to identify it after a moment.
