Penelopee reports a bug:

kitten (mobs) moving abnormally. when I missed catch the kitten they stop moving. if I missed again they move abnormal.

I've seen the abnormal cats... and abnormal rats and sheep (all from mobs_redo).
Basically they always "run", and never sit or stop. When the model turns around, they still continue to move in the same direction for a while before bouncing back in the direction they came from.
So basically they run forwards and backwards and half the time they spend moonwalking.

It happens all the time in the room where Penelopee stores pets, but in other rooms same pets have normal behavior.
Seems like something is triggering "run away" behavior only in specific rooms of the castle, but we have no idea what exactly.

One theory that it may be floor type? That store room has ivory for a floor.
Another is nether portal?

They are supposed to run away from "predators", but I didn't find any around...

That's the most likely explanation: they want to avoid some kind of block, but we could not figure out what exactly they didn't like, since they just bounce around the room. And I didn't find all blocks YL have set to avoid, at least yet...

oh, yeah, i did notice this w/ the cows in #5424. a list of nodes which will cause this behavior:
