Delete Branch "%!s(<nil>)"
Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
The area containing this tree is currently protected by me for the time being, just so nobody can try and screw it up
In order for us to judge whether something went wrong, we'd need the coords ;)
They are on the screenshots :b
Looks pretty normal for me (MT-normal, that is). What might have happened: An enthusiastic land guard fell into the area between stone and desert stone. He found a block of dirt. He was a very happy land guard - because he could plant an apple tree sapling.
I'll dig up a few blocks and see if there's any trunk connection
I'm not so sure if a land guard done this, there wouldn't be enough light where it is for it to grow.
if the desert stone generated as part of the terrain is counted as a "ceiling" of sorts then this could be tied in with #315 which focuses on things growing through ceilings, but thats just how I see things ofc
10/10/2023 - Let me clarify:
The dirt it spawned on is underground, but we'll call it the "ground".
It grew through the desert stone on the surface, which we'll call the "ceiling".
Get what I mean now?
I remember seeing quirks like these in older chunks - i remember seeing some in a desert biome in the far northeast of the map and also one in the desert south of haven
trees grow through walls and ceilings. i've also seen these moretrees apple trees growing through the ground in ethereal "caverns" biomes. nothing to do here.
