Laylem reports a bug:

[node request?] I want a node that is able to have the feel of "large stone 2x1 block". Unfortunately, the best I could find was the jonez base/architraves which left a bit lacking... Are there any such blocks or should I request a new node? (maybe based on darkage:marble_tile with one edge missing on texture?)

What you did with jonez is already pretty good - with a bit of texture magix we could certainly make it appear that way.

That would work for a stop gap solution to get 2x1 blocks. Thanks!

I hope one day we can get some dedicated blocks if nodes aren't as limited.
Personally speaking I would like such blocks in different colours and materials and not just off-grey, and without the extra line near the "base", see the attached example for what I mean without the line near the "base".

i'm not 100% sure what you mean, but the example i provided will also be able to exist rotated 180 degrees, so that the "light source" would come from below.

this is live, though i now notice that they're susceptible to the same issue as in #1201, where they place w/ "random" param2 values.
