Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?

cf. #1792, #3823. this seems to be a separate issue, but it's also one that i'm aware of and which should be fixed w/ my moreblocks/stairsplus fork
A small clarification: step 4 is not strictly necessary, it can be skipped, but at step 5 add enough input material such that when trying to recycle nodes, would result in overflow of the input material slot (that is more than 99 nodes would end up there, which if prevented correctly). One way to fix this would be to not allow to drop nodes into the recycle slot when an overflow would occur.
i fixed the issue almost a year ago, it's just never made it onto the server.
