well, if the caravan is going to travel somewhere, there's gonna have to be somewhere for them to set up, whether it's temporary or permanent.
Is there any news on this? Some things were explained in #5009 and #2997 more detail, but not how to prepare them now.
So what are the minimum structural requirements for caravanserais or rest stops for caravans?
this is alias's decision ultimately, but i can imagine a minimum setup being "a build where there's places to put at least 3 NPCs". one to talk to the caravan manager, one to talk to some sort of trader, and one for possible future expansion. having more spots for NPCs might open up additional caravan interactions. having all the NPCs stand next to each other could be reasonable, or on the other hand, it should be fine to set up a giant "farmers' market" type build.
