i'm not sure how much i like this proposal, given that it's actually easy to get coal ore, and illumishrooms are needed to make at at least one quite powerful item...

a player was complaining about having trouble finding them.

People can obtain (coal) ore nodes from scout drops. That's a good thing IMO so that people can decorate their own mines.

If someone was really dedicated, they could create a "natural habitat" for those mushrooms and hope to grow them.

Crystal armour is equally powerful, maybe even more. It can easily be obtained by using fertilizer on crystal dirt.

I'd like to postpone the decision until we have a way of regrowing things: your-land/administration#134
