Currently we do not have many uses for the various types of meat. Most later recipes either use the raw meat or cooked meat group.

Either we find different and meaningful purposes for all this meat or we unify them into one.

Even werewolves only require any type of raw meat, right?

werewolves (and normal players) get different amounts of health from eating different kinds of raw meat (though the #s desperately need re-balancing). see the discussion in #1680 for more info.

i'm not sure it's true that most recipes only use group:food_meat or group:food_meat_raw. plenty use group:food_chicken or group:food_fish_raw or group:food_mutton_raw etc. honestly, i'd love if we used more of the food from the BBQ mod, which would add a bunch of more uses for various meats.

maybe this suggestion does make sense though, if e.g. it takes 4 rabbits to craft 1 "meat" etc. rename mobs:meat_raw to "mystery meat" =D
