Could not reproduce: I went to Virgilio and selected "only me", and not even my party-member alt was allowed through.

My bad, I didn't explain properly what I was talking about.
My report was referred to the 1st option (look at the screenshot) that says: "Please open the portal for me, Father." and opens the portal directly without showing the interface to select any companions (and possibly also the "only me" choice you checked) allowing everyone to jump in.
By selecting the phrase "Please open the portal for me, Father" the portal should open only for the player and not for everyone else, unless you want to change the sentence to "Please open the portal for everyone, Father." or remove it at all and force the player to choose from "only me", "my party" and "everyone".
As uninvited portal jumping is considered illegal, maybe the "easy" choice must be a locked portal, and sharing it allowed only as optional and concious choice. Actually there are two ways to open the portal for everyone, the first of which without the player being aware of it. The "only me" is left as the last option of the list.

Because if bailiff or other players want to help with something by jumping the portal, it's much easier to just say "go to church and open the portal", than to give additional instructions on how to set it up properly.
