I jailed -ITz_KitLATE- earlier and left jail after they insisted not to promise to replant in future for quite while.
Later they mailed me, they'd like to talk to someone with common sense, so I suggested to report me, not thinking about reporting from put of prison is prohibited.
ofc. Boot has been told about the case, but I think if people are jailed and bailiff decides to not let them out, they shoud have a chance to /report in case they believe they have been mistreated.
Not in favour. We jail people, so they have no means of disrupting YL, especially not using a command that "calls out of MT" like /bug or /report or /announce.
Still, if they wish to report someone, we need to return the shout priv to them for this specific occasion.
Is it possible to do so when they are in jail? I haven't tried that so far. Maybe we should add this to the signs in jail, so they know what to do in case someone of us misbehaves
I don't want to put too much an obstacle between "player reporting staff", but I also don't want to encourage every person being in jail reporting staff because they don't like their situation.
maybe the bailiff manual should have "In case a player ends up in jail and mentions they are treated unfairly or otherwise not excellent, the bailiff or staff member shall offer to return the shout priv to the player for a report or suggest an alternative way: Writing to info@your-land.de"
This could be written on a poster in the jail too. And some other helpful words too.
The signs in the jail cell are: "
Please remain calm. You are in jail. You cannot die here. Why am I in jail? Prepare to be contacted by a bailiff or staff.
" this one is old. They next I cant remember, who placed it: "Speak with F10
". And the third is now: "If you think you are wrongly jailed, or if you would like to report a bailiff or staff, you can contact us by email at info@your-land.de
"I forgot the fourth sign: "
if you don't talk to me we can't let you out, so, please, hit T to talk, or F10
". Lots to read.
