Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
... because there's no point in waiting for Chache any longer. Surely he had an important reason to leave YL, because otherwise (that's how I assess him) he would probably never have started a new round of the Botm (March 2024) and just finished his game a few days before this round ended. Its not fair to the players, who built something, not fair to ignore the voters votes and very sad, that the very famous Botm should even end with such never ending cliff hanger.
BotM is scheduled to resume in 2025 starting with January hopefully.
Chache excluded players he didn't like from taking part in it by banning them from Puerto del Sol, so the new BotM will be placed on staff controlled land in the future instead of private area. That should ensure it's open to all players in good standing, which all of our players are already or they would be in jail.
Of course, it would be fantastic to have this monthly competition again. it brought us many great buildings, which in turn inspired other players to work on their own building skills and to copy great solutions and tricks directly.
The reason for my entry, on the other hand, was much less, namely to finally close the current month. Chache, Ravise and I had submitted buildings and there will certainly be enough players to vote by the scheduled end of the vote. If a result is available, then it should be announced and the corresponding rewards distributed. If no result can be reconstructed after such a long time, then an appropriate solution should still be found.
Was the last BotM not closed and rewards handed out already? Or am I missing something?
Yes, not closed and is still open. The poster "Submissions" shows the March, the poster "Results" shows February 24 and the voting machine is still in charge. The rules says: 10-day voting period will start after the last day of the month (March). Last-login of Chache was 2024-04-13, but I guess it was very short and he doesn't gave anyone the results. Only admins can "show all votes" at the voting machine.
Thank you @daydream
