recording here that tree fern leaves also don't drop. not certain that's for the same reasons, but might as well look at both at the same time.

i think both bamboo and tree fern leaves are dropping properly at present, but i want to test that more thoroughly at some point.

if that's true, possibly a run-once LBM could be created to remove all the old floating leaves.
