LadyPixels reports a bug:

suggestion /ignore is a great tool between player but shouldn't apply if the person is a bailiff or a staff. it's really annoying if we are trying to help and the player placed you in ignore list :/

If someone knows and uses the command, then I would assume that 1. it is not a beginner 2. the player has consciously decided to do it 3. the player continues to bear all the consequences for his actions. So for us as a bailiff, exactly nothing changes.

Mostly what Boot wrote is right. Still, players may encounter commands they don't entirely understand, and by accident ignore. In such cases help may be necessary.
