For example, I think that sheep and cows should be merged. Currently they produce the same things, but creates more confusion.

And what would you suggest should happen to all the beloved sheep and cows that the players have tamed in recent years? They're just supposed to go, for strange reasons? The bug tracker is not about writing anything and as much as possible. It should have a little bit of relevance, and momentous proposals should be given a detailed justification and thought through to the end. Please try a little harder.

If it was so easy to do, we could probably do it. But a: it's not at all an easy thing to do, and B: Why should we do it?

There is an attempt to unify all mobs. We already work on that some way or another, please do not open new issues for each animal now.
