rewired_X reports a bug:

my sorting tube seems to have gotten stuck. I removed a chest it was connected to and it hasn't retracted that red end yet ...

this is the other side of #3357. how did i not test that.

in any event, i've already got two outstanding PRs against chesttools so i'm not prioritizing this.
