I try searching for this but surprisingly didn't find it.

Is there a reason node replacer has to spam chat with useless messages? Instead of integrating it into some fancy update where all kinds of tool messages get their own info area, can't we just make it stop doing it?

I can see keeping "you're out of this node" when you run out but what is the benefit to spamming that a node has been replaced? Can't see the use for it.

I don't see any messages when I replace nodes though. Only when I ran out and when I set the tool to a new one...

You get message 'Nothing to replace.' every time you (accidentally) click on node that was already replaced (i.e. matches the target node)

The version of the replacer mod on the server is a fork of my original. I talked to the one who did the fork and complained about those spam messages as well. Turns out players on another server explicitly wanted that spam :-( There's also my original version of the replacer...which even has a hist by now and can replace shape/form or material now in an extra mode instead of shape and material...
