What annoys me most is that petz flyers hang in air when you load the mapblock. That looks horrible. Can't they learn from water_life? Seagulls went from similar behaviour to very good flying tactics in the past.
Sorry, this is completely unrelated.
This petz parrot is tamed, and starts behaving like this after being placed. And keeps doing it after fully activating.

overall, i don't think flying petz respond to gravity whether they're in their "fly" animation or not.
