Where all of the builds that won the previous year would get voted and the best one would win... I made a new certificate using Chache's gold one as a template. This certificate is meant to be platinum.

This does not look like platinum. Too similar to silver and not as memorable. Maybe make it with rainbow or mithril.

There are already too many good builds in general so that not each one can receive the vote and placement it deserves. A building of the year makes things worse from my point of view. Too many too good ones to limit it down to one.

My intention is to give the 3 highest placed buildings in BotY an existing gold, silver or bronze certificate, just with the text saying "Building of the Year 2023" instead of "of the Month ..." to be hung beside the gold certificate that the buildings already possess.
