I've heard from a multicraft 2.0.7 user they see our models in a strange way and asked them to complain to the multicraft folks.
Although I added the "client" label, it is not the Minetest client that does it wrong. Still we have many multicraft players and want to keep them. Our mod set is not too extraordinary regarding models.
Also, we're using the same model for NPCs, but those are not reported to look funny. Maybe it's the head movement mod?
When I logged into YL using the Multicrap client a few days ago, I noticed the appearance of the players is like this. This is taken from my android phone with the latest Multicrap update (2.0.7? i dont keep track of that stuff)
I'm unable to replicate the bug from logging into other servers, so this appears to be a YL specific issue. My guess is that it's with the head rotation mod and the multicrap client screwing up with something about it.
this is a client issue with multicraft. minetest changed the representation of player models a while back, and multicraft didn't to retain compatibility with older servers instead of newer ones. there's nothing we can do.
Question is why does that only happen in MUlticraft 7, not in Multicraft 6 ?
oh, i missed that. i have no idea, other than multicraft pretends to be compatible with minecraft when it really isn't always. debugging this is way outside my area of expertise, though. we could try dumping all the mods that modify the player model (3d_armor/wieldview, petz, playeranim, ...), and seeing what things look like?
Still, ultimately it's on Multicraft to do stuff, we can only assist with information. They introduced the bug between version, so its on them to fix it.

Huh, strange.
