Sokomine reports a bug:

idea: add a /map command that shows inside cities a formspec with the map of the city and the position of the player marked on it so that less players get lost in haven and other cities

Not in favour, this kinda replaces the maps that are hung up near spawn

Still, interesting tech. A bit like the overlay map of certain RPG games.

Can't be a formspec, if you want to be able to move still. Needs to be a hud overlay, mostly transparent.
