i don't think they've lost duration, i've chain-killed two or three at a time recently.
i want to say its something related to lag that's slashing off the duration but during earlier's attack (i was in an area that wasn't lagging noticeably) just moments after I killed the focus I saw the 10 second warning appear (and I didn't take forever killing it, it went down in about 30 seconds or less)
my hypothesis is that an eye (evoker) was nearby. in my experience you don't always see their warning messages in chat, particularly if there's notable lag. i can neither confirm nor deny this myself though.
Voice has picked up on the use of Eyes, as far as I could tell from chatter. We sure could measure duration of invis potion in high lag VS no lag on the testserver
