Why has this ancient quest been destroyed now? ... #5982

... The Stone Monster Quest north of Haven has been around for several years. I don't know who built it. But whoever that was, he or she must have thought something of it, and I don't think it was the builder of the quest himself who has now largely destroyed it. The door has always been unprotected. Sometimes there were boxes, but the inside had never changed.

Today, after another banter with Voice, I came by again and could hardly believe my eyes. The cave is completely rebuilt, the water at the entrance is gone and it is now illuminated. How can that be? Who initiated this? The area is protected with "Quest". So how does it happen and why was it necessary?

I can confirm that the quest area is modified and looks dammaged. There are some torches placed and parts have been digged out.

The quest was introduced to me as "Kumos' Quest" or something like that in the past.

What has been going on there? Accident? Can someone repair? Fighting with the lag of light was always an issue there - but workarounds existed (drop a light source).

it looks to me much as it has for at least a year. i tidied it up at one point and added a door, and someone later came by and tidied it more and added the stonebrick. the area beyond the door has been properly protected as long as i can remember.

No, we're talking about the area beyound the door. There are torches there now and stones missing.

Yes, a lot has changed on the outside, but Sokomine and me are only talking about the inside here. And sure it was and is protected, but between, with this "Haven North Clearing" or something else were other players inside that protection of the whole territory too and this little quest was infected by this?

No. Apparently sometime in the past, more than a year ago, the water was removed and torches were placed.

We'll redesign

Still looks clean. However, you can now also stand in it afk and slaughter the stone monsters between. You get the full loot and XP, but no damage, only the sword wears out.

afaik the stone monsters can still damage your armor, making afking in there a bit of a bad idea...

Could it be that you are taking some of my comments a little too literally? Yes, afk is not a good idea there, no one should do that there, but I wanted to illustrate the situation that you hardly get any damage there and that is certainly not in the spirit of this quest.
