Here's one well protected spot... but may be too hidden?
perhaps one in the armory in the middle of the bridge, and perhaps one inside at the far end of the bridge (not on top)?
Add anvils in the south as well. It's really annoying beating up voice troops there and having to run far a way to find a protected are to set down an anvil to repair gear.
i added a number of public anvils, mostly in/around the bridge, a couple in the south. they're not in super-obvious locations - i did my best to make them appear like they belonged w/ the existing decor, instead of sticking out. but they're around if you look for them.
