It's not very helpful if you don't at least give a hint about the typos.
He asked ingame whether to note down every last typo, but I said if they are so obvious, then it's not necessary. Sorry :-/
If we need a list, we could ask him again to go thorugh the texts with us
Ok, I'm outing myself here once again as a non-English speaking native speaker. Nevertheless, I would like to create books and quest dialogues. The question is whether such orthographically imperfect books and quest dialogues can be accepted or not. I know that quite a few players have inhibitions about expressing themselves in writing because the percentage of native English speakers could possibly discover errors. By the way, I don't have these inhibitions. My texts are just an offer. If you think spelling mistakes are actually a bug, I can't help you. After all, in this case, quite a few players understood the dialogue texts and successfully completed the quest.
english orthography is wretched and even most native speakers struggle with it. orthography mistakes ought not to block the acceptance of books or quest dialogues, but if someone cared enough to report it, it's technically a "bug". we've fixed spelling/capitalization on a few things before, but it tends to be very low priority.
By the way, 95 percent of this particular quest text was not written by me, but by someone I greatly admire for their very eloquent language in English. I could only express myself half as well. That's why I'm really surprised right now. And that's the only reason I replied to that request.
