Maybe we need a special 3D maze? ;)
Maybe cover the top with item frames
undoubtably i would like to see some new maze designs, maybe with a roof so people can't just leap over the walls to easily find the chest.
Everyone may hand in new maze designs, we'll add them :)
Must be of the category "hedge", "glass" or "invisible", but not hardcore stick to those thematics.
This is how the maze looks codewise:
The "wall" type gets replaced with a chest, so if you build a colourful glass maze, then
wall="myglass:green"
will be replaced by loot chests.If you want to try your hand, we'll copy the frame somewhere.
i can try my hand at maze designing
personally i think the maze minigame should be generated via the same mechanic as the maze minigame - make it random instead of a fixed maze with a random chest somewhere inside. it absolutely needs a roof as well, but it should come with a longer timeout, and prevent other players from getting into the maze while one player is trying to play it.
Perhaps set it up like the easter maze? although then that would be a huge hell to make
