that mod is totally unsuitable as is. for one, the mechanism triples the number of node ids on the server. we don't have enough available IDs to do that. secondly, it creates variants of everything, even nodes that already support mesecons.

instead, we'd need something that could possibly create mesecons-aware node variants for a list of specific nodes.

possibly remove dark arrows and umbra node. This gives enough space.

dark arrows don't count towards the node limit and removing the umbra node would only give 1 extra possible node.
