Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?

Under the current rules, people need to keep a distance of 300 to cities and 150 to private areas.
Means, if the city owner wants, noone can build in an area : (300 + 256 + 300) * (300 + 256 + 300) = 732 736
Under the proposed new rules this would increase to (400 + 256 + 400) * (400 + 256 + 400) = 1 115 136
Currently the area footprint of a city is already quite large, I'm not in favour of expanding it.
I was more meaning it would be for cities to have 100m reserve space at each side in case they do run out of room. Unlikely that cities would run out of room, but might happen.
I see more along of the lines of "city X expands X blocks in X direction(s)" being a valid cause for reserve space, running out of room I just don't see happening
ok ok maybe it can happen but expansion is more likely than out of room
I find distance rules more than sufficient. We'll review with the cities update, but I do not expect something to change.
