JeCel reports a bug:

[mail] Change default setting to Descending instead of Ascending. Every time I join and got a mail I have to change that and it's pretty annoying. Doesn't even make sense to have Ascending as Default.

I just realized there is an Option button where you literally can change that .-.
So I guess this can be ignored? Though it's still weird imo that it's Ascending by default until you change it in the settings.

I agree, a bad default. One of the smaller issues with mail I would think but none the less, there it is. No worries either way tho JeCel :)

We need to go see on the testserver whether this still happens with the new mail mod. It may be fixed alredy, all we need to do is deliver the fix.

You're not the first one with that problem. The last time the mail mod was chnaged I had that problem as well. Until I found (or was pointed to) the right button.

I agree that this is a bad default. I have to change this every time I log in... just another thing to do each login but would be nice if it was made descending by default.

the default used to be the opposite of what is currently, and i think old mail (before the spate of recent updates) still sorts descending, while new mail sorts ascending? confusing
