mr_block reports a bug:

sometimes, after I drop a tool and pick it up, once it is in my inventory I get a message saying "your needs repair", even though my tools are usually above 70% durability. Doesn't affect my gameplay much, just obviously isn't supposed to happen :D

i've verified that this happens w/ any "tool" that doesn't have full durability.

I remember an issue like this occurring, before, but it only occurred on Nether Tools, and eventually I lost track of whether or not the bug continued to occur to them as I stopped using them in favour of enchanted mithril.
