So, I encountered a bug that leads to cheese:fresh_caciocavallo duplication, but at this moment I am not sure if provided steps will lead to replication of this bug.
I had rhotator memory ON, and I placed cheese:caciocavallo in a corner of a wall to refreshen it (A) [1] The cheese stayed as block, rhotated to connect to the wall, not to the ceiling. It did stay in place, but it also dropped itself (B)
I suspect integration between rhotator and cheese is to blame. The source code of cheese dictates the cheese must drop when placed unless hanged under planks of some sort. This bug affects both cheese:caciocavallo and cheese:fresh_caciocavallo
Rhotator = AUTO and rhotator = OFF work as expected.
[1] This might also be unwanted behaviour, but is dictated by source of cheese: alone.
i hate the rhotator, but it might be cheese's behavior that needs to change
i'm able to replicate this. weirdly, caciocavallo drops a fresh_caciocavallo item, but it's still effectively a dupe.
Right or wrong, it is what I expected. It's still creating cheese out of thin air...
