What exactly could be shorter and what information is needed?
smartchat command "/c h" text flood
Example of a single command (there are about 16!):
Wanted:
/c j|join <channel> Join or change a channel to <channel>.
Six lines would thus turn into one without loss of information. The result would be this (still pretty long...):
Come to think of that, it's still far too long. Sepearate it into two outputs - the above one behind "/c fh|full_help Show all commands." And behind this extended help there ought to be where, move, all, channels, status, reconnect, mark_channel and unmark_channel command. Normal help ought to be limited to join, leave, list, invite, kick, toggle, talk2public, full_help.
maybe it'd be even better if
/c help
even put up a formspec like/help
does
