daydream reports a bug:

suggestion for bad language handling - wouldn't it be rather more amusing if it just got translated instead of removing the player? like This flowery server smells pleasant - we would all know and laugh but the player saying this fucking server sucks monkey balls would be hilariously frustrated :)

Much the same like any word filter, the problem is not what we do with offensive language. The problem is detection. It is too easy to write even the most basic of insults with slightly different characters. This makes it pretty easy for humans to understand, but pretty hard for the machine.
