Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?

this sounds like the meseportals, though we've decided not to create new uses of those anymore. cf. #1765.
NPCs can also be set up to teleport players, e.g. the goblin and the priest.
I suggest having another look at telemosaic mod:

I very much like that NPCs can be used for teleport through dialogue, although I also want some kind of limited "teleport block" for use with contests and magical themes. Telemosaic mod provides the responsible way to add this for players for limited range teleport, and the range is limited by ability to place repeater nodes.
I disagree on any more teleport thingis. There are more than enough ways to get around.
I understand that this is meant for staff use only or to allow easy access to event locations.
Telemosaic is certainly worth a look due to the beautiful and magical circles, but much like meseportals, the game design is not happy with more and diverse ways for teleport.
