if it does what i'd assume it does, and report the same position for both

, this could be made part of an anti-cheat mechanism. note that there's occasionally legit reasons to dig things from inside of nodes, e.g. things the player can walk through normally, and falling nodes like sand/gravel.There are also benches and other things. When building like I do, tight build situations are common. Please don't hinder us by censored anti-cheat things.
Sometimes using replacer tool might end up with your head in something you placed as well.
i don't think this sort of anti-cheat is even needed on your-land, i just wanted to make a note to myself. but yes, this is certainly a way to detect someone e.g. digging ores while no-clipping using a hacked client.
Does that even work? Noclip is useful when trying to connect tunnels from two ends or planning some things, but...for mining? Most things exist in sufficient quantity down there.
Anticheat certainly is welcome.
Sokomine brings up a lot of good points, any sort of anticheat would need thorough vetting and testing. also, note that cheat detection, cheat prevention, and cheat punishment, are different things, and each is a lot of work.
