Old quest. Would have to take out the compasses and go there to confirm which day it was. But we've been there...unleass Alias wants to re-use it.

old quest areas tend to stick around, there's quite a lot of them. are you saying this one should be removed for some reason?

All North Poles will be removed once the xmas quest is done ;)

This one still exists :-) Perhaps an NPC could settle there and explain that it's not christmas time yet and that he's just er a placeholder until the building might be needed again.
