imo players should keep their items if they die inside of an arena which resets or does any other sort of node modification.
areas need more attributes. Like "no_bones" or "pvp_mandatory" or similar.
no_bones would prevent bone generation. But that's a hell to integrate everything into everything else. Areas needs an api to let us add custom attributes.
i'm working on that, but also working on a bunch of other stuff at the same time.
@AliasAlreadyTaken a temporary solution is easy to implement: in yl_commons, override the "bones behavior" function in (my fork of) the bones mod, and list a handful of hard-coded regions where players should always keep their inventory.
Wouldn't that be a nice "Small Task" for newly acquired programmers?
