darealbang reports a bug:

My skin doesn't have a hand: So basically everytime I hover over an empty inv slot, I have a missing hand, I can't see it

i wish, but more likely skinsdb updated something and we need to update all our textures or something.

i also noticed that Bla's custom skin has a very odd looking hand.

Had a look at the skins.
For darealbang and me our skins are probably the cause, they got painted on to the 1.8 overlay layer for hats/sleeves/pants/etc instead of the 1.0 body layer for head/arm/leg.

With daydreams skin I´m not sure yet, her skin seems done correctly as far as I can see.
Maybe because of the additional 1.8 left arm+leg instead of 1.0 mirroring of right arm+leg.

Had a look at the skins. Send Alias fixed versions of darealbang and mine skin.
using the body instead of the clothing layer makes player appear a bit smaller/thinner.
@darealbang you also had some missing regions, like the sides between arm and body or inner side of legs, fixed those too.

Not everyone just skins like mine that used the clothing layer for body parts and then only in first person view the wield hand.
I can see a couple affected skins, currently trying to find the best solution to automate the manual cut&move I did with mine and darealbangs skin.

Keep this open because I think there is a underlaying issue with skinsdb.

version 1.0 skin -> skinsdb_hand.b3d, skin body layer right arm region
version 1.8 skin -> skinsdb_hand_18.b3d, skin body layer right arm region with overlaid skin clothing layer right sleeve region

But for my bugged 1.8 skin it either used the 1.0 hand or didnt overlay the 1.8 hand with the clothing layer.

darealbang just tested and its fixed, mine is too.
Didn´t have time so far to check for the underlaying issue I suspect.
Would like to keep this open but shouldn´t affect 1.1.18 update.
