Why iron Golems?
Features
If they are tameable, they must also be takeable in some way. For example like ponies in petz
alias has stated that he wants all mobs to be tamable eventually, though i don't know what the proposed mechanic for that will be.
ok
I want all mobs be tameable eventually. I want mobs be able to have pokemon style battles or bodyguard their owner.
However, I'm not sure if this mechanic will also apply to nether mobs.
Personally, I'd say that at least one nether mob that arent dragons should be tameable, then the rest which aren't would only be temporarily pacified by feeding them items. The same would also apply to balrogs.
As for what nether mob I think should be tameable, I'd personally think withers or iron golems, maybe ogres
This will be fixed when and if we can make the mobs and mercenary mechanics of 1.4, we 'll not make an exception for the iron golem.
