tamed mobs should be protected by default. both petz and mobs_animals

What's the reasoning behind this?

Not in favour. This would invalidate dreamcatcher and protection rune mechanics. It would also take the decision off people which to keep: They'd simply keep them all.

often times, players aren't aware of the mob protection mechanics, and throw a fit when their animals are killed by other players. i want to allow players to make farms and zoos and have pets without worrying about all the ways the animals might die.

in the new mob api, protect-on-tame will probaly be a config option, and protection items will still be able to exist
