What's black lightstone? Something specific from a mod?
The blackest light-emitting stone might be some glowing obsidian
lightstones are mesecons-powered lights. i wanted to make a working, analog "clock face", and didn't like how dark-gray looked (though it's better than the other options).
brown and dark-green dyes also lack a corresponding lightstone.
after thinking about it more, i'd be great to just have a digilines-controlled node that could have its color programmed. using param2 coloring, that'd only require a single extra node. it wouldn't glow, but the clock face could be covered in SGG or similar if desired.

Woah, fancy :D
This sounds like others might benefit from such a mod, too. So I'd encourage making a standalone mod from it. We'll certainly add it too

Waiiiiiiiit! Could we make Tetris with this??
yes. but i think that could be done much easier in a mod (vs. coding tetris into a luacontroller). though it'd be interesting to see if the luacontroller could even handle controlling both the input, and the drawing of a "full-size" tetris game, simultaneously. Andrew might be interested in trying his hand at it w/ a luacontroller though, we should mention the idea to him.
it strikes me that the game could be split into 2 luacontrollers; one which handles input and generates a schematic, and the second which executes all of the drawing
