seconding a proposal by Lupercus and Sokomine
https://github.com/AnnalysaTheMinetester/cheese
It's on the testserver
there's some weirdness w/ the creation of the "magic cheese" (most of them don't work, nor do they require dairy?), though they don't have integration w/ player monoids anyway, so perhaps that's a good thing... the core of the mod is pretty cool, though it's a bit confusing that most of the shelves give you one of 3 (or 4?) random cheeses. there don't seem to be any crashy bugs, though luacheck shows there's some stuff like leaked globals.
wrote some code to disable the magic cheeses, pending the creation of a proper system for creating/using/benefiting from it

A couple of duplicate crafting recipes again:
mobs:bucket_milk -> cheese:whey
mobs:bucket_milk -> cheese:curd
2nd and 3rd recipe -> cheese:vegetable_butter_prep
Rest looks good :) Mechanics work and cheese will be ingredient of ... many things
processing milk produces both curds and whey. the vegetable butter thing is probably because we're aliasing one of the soy milks to the other.
this is live :)
