Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?

it shouldn't be possible to do a tiny bit of damage, get killed, teleport back via the priest, and repeat, until the balrog is dead.
it doesn't need to be a lot of healing, perhaps just a few HP per minute.
In many games, the enemy even heals up full as soon as players disengage, to prevent pinching them to death.

The balrog will heal 1 HP every 5 seconds, so long as it's not engaged in combat, which resets the timer.
