Oakenshield reports a bug:

It would be nice if nicer patterns could be obtained by combining the terracotta baked clay with valuable materials. The terracotta is beautiful, but I'd like a version for us builders with too many resources, which isn't cheap

Each of those combinations will most liekly add a block and if you want those saw-able, another 4x8 = 24 blocks will be added.
