Not sure if I understand that correctly.
YL should change it for everyone because you wont have to add 1 texture to a texture pack that only you use?
If you really want that it would make more sense if you open an issue upstream at moreblocks.
THe irontexutre would be no problem. But why i should if the ironstonetexture is a bit lighter then the normal stone texture. And it would be no rpblem to add the texture to my texture pack.
User wanted us to replace the texture with a texture and apply a texture modifier. This would not onbly void all other texturepacks which rely on this texture, but also cause more CPU load.
