Sokomine reports a bug:

"Your hit glanced off of the protection and turned you around." - wrong. i did fight an enemy in the arena, and that enemy (a lava flan) left fire. it wasn't even an attempt to grief. so please stop this turning-the-player-around! at least for anything past level 3 or so

I also find this incredibly annoying. I think it shouldn't be too hard to make the "turn-around" feature a little more intelligent. It's meant to make it more difficult to glitch into areas by digging while lagging. Nodes that the player can pass through should never trigger it.

the thing is, we are trying to hit fire here
hitting fire will make the fire disappear, and this is considered as "interact" (this is like trying to turn off permament fires of different places in Haven, that would be bad)
I think maybe players should be granted the access to turn off fire in arena?
(the same thing happened in yesterday's event, blaze monsters got spawned in the playground, they made the whole ground full of flames, and we couldn't do anything, because we couldn't turn off the fire and couldn't see anywhere either because of the flames)
