From log's perspective, debian44 died twice. Once by pvp, the other time ... not by pvp. The second time, xp were subtracted.

The log of the past 3 month showed similar death where someone died twice in one second
Those are the events of September and October 2021. Missing are still November and December 2021, the events are so numerous that I will only add special ones of the later two month.
I added the xp debian44 lost to him and gave him 500 xp for discovering that issue

Sounds quite possible to me.
Since the upgrade to 5.5.0 this has not happened again. The log data looks promising and I'm carefully positive we got rid of it. It's too early to declare vicotry, but if I'm mistaken, we'll reopen
