Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?

moretrees defines it's own type of plantlike_leaves,
Alias check this out:

Had a talk with Alias about this. Everytime we decide to make a custom solution for a mod/remove it farther from it's upstream original, integration becomes more difficult. In this case, maybe living with the leaves being slower than the Minetest standard is preferrable to have another point of conflict when integrating upstream updates. Alias's final decision is still pending though.
We'll leave it there for the time being. Should we ever redesign trees and their growing behaviour, we'll most likely unify this anyways. There's no game-y benefit to leaves falling in a different fashion compared to the others.
